STEPHEN ISHMAEL

He was born September 24, 1943 in Wheeling, son of the late Ernest and Anna (Bigler) Ishmael.

He was a retired Team Leader for A.E.P. He was member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfurst, where he was a lector and Eucharistic Minister. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council # 2262, he was a 4th degree member of Commander Jack Berry Council #802, and a member of the American Legion Post #521 Shadyside.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Christine Ann Ishmael.

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Linda (Pockl) Ishmael, two sons Stephen W. and Kira Ishmael of Marysville, and Michael J. and Genevieve Ishmael of Powell, a daughter Sharon Alig and William Bailer of Colerain, grandchildren: Ashlee and Kevin Kuca, Amanda Alig, Jacob, Olivia Ishmael, Paige Simpson, Nora, and Jack Ishmael, one great granddaughter, Kenzington Kuca.

Because of the COVID-19 virus, private service and interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens at the convenience of the family. A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church 68210 Neola Ave. Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.
