KATRINA DUNAWAY

Katrina Eileen Slack Dunaway peacefully passed away May 14, 2020 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.

Katrina worked in the field of nursing for over 44 years and had a passion for caring for others. Katrina was the daughter of Eileen Taylor Slack of Bellaire and the late Carl W. Slack.

Katrina was a loving mother to four children, Heather (Rene) Dunaway of Texas, Rachel (Tom) Boyd of Columbus, Wendy (Scott) Duncan of Hilliard and Kyle Dunaway of Columbus. She was also a loving grandmother to four grandchildren, Kaeden Boyd, and Mya, Alexa, and Brennen Duncan.

Katrina’s siblings are Elliott (Bernie) Slack of Shadyside, Jennifer (John) Gulash of Shadyside and the late Eric (Judy) Slack of Arizona. She was a loving aunt to Janell Brown, Ryan Slack, Jill Monus, Dylan Slack, Mary Slack, Allison Stewart, Mason Gulash and Karley Gulash, along with several great-nieces and -nephews.

Honoring Katrina’s wishes there will be no public services. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg.
