JOHN SNIDER
John “Murph” Snider, 83 of St. Clairsville died Saturday July 4, 2020 at Sewickley Valley Hospital in Sewickley, PA. He was born May 1, 1937 a son of the late George and Genevieve ( Murphy) Snider in Bellaire, Ohio.
John was owner and president of McFadden & Associates. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and a Catholic by faith. John was a member and Past Extoller Ruler of the Martins Ferry Elks club and a member of the Fairpoint Polish Club. He also lived and worked in Los Angeles County, California for 45 years. Upon retiring he returned to the Ohio Valley. John was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother George and his brothers Frederick and James Snider.
He is survived by his companion of 20 years Sharon Donahue of St. Clairsville, OH, and her children Van (Carol) Donahue and Janet (Brian) Runyan; his brother David (Cheryl) Snider of Jacobsburg, OH and his sister Karen (Bill) Kahl of Bellaire, OH along with several nieces and nephews.
