ROBERT VAN FOSSEN
Robert F. Van Fossen, age 73, of Boomer, West Virginia passed away on August 3rd, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. He was born December 15, 1946 in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The son of Robert and Grace Van Fossen. He attended Bellaire High School, graduating in 1965.
He preached his first sermon in 1969 and went on to spend over 50 years in pastoral ministry. He loved his Lord and Savior and he loved his family.
He is survived by wife Anna Van Fossen, his sons Robert (Tonya) and Steve (Marcey); brothers Jerry (Diane), Rich, and Donnie; grandchildren, Trevor, Chandler, Gabe, Myles, Philip, Ryan, Channie, Taylor, Nick, and Casey; great grandson, Rhett.
He was preceded in death by father, Robert, and mother, Grace.
A memorial service with be held Thursday, August 6th at 1 p.m. at Oakland Church of God, 433 Kanawha Ave., Smithers, WV 2518.
