GEORGE TITONIS

George was in the dry cleaning business for many years. He was a Member and Past President of the Greek Orthodox Church Council, Martins Ferry, OH and Past President AHEPA Miltiades Chapter 68, Wheeling, WV. A member of the Martins Ferry Fire Department Ladder Company, he was also a former member of the Martins Ferry Eagles, Lions, Yacht Club, Downtown Improvement Association, and the Chambers of Commerce in Martins Ferry, Wheeling, Moundsville, and Bellaire. He was a member of Saints & Sinners, District Director of the Ohio Dry Cleaners Association, and Director of the West Virginia Dry Cleaners Association.

He was survived by his wife, Karen (Kolenich) Titonis; sister, Virginia Titonis; daughters, Renee Titonis Brock, Washington, DC; Vanessa (Chris) Berhalter, Colerain, OH; Theodora Titionis, Berkeley, CA; and Maria Titonis, Washington, DC; and grandchildren, Grayden and Griffin Brock and Nicholas, Abigail and Nathan Berhalter.

Family and friends may pay their respects at Heslop Funeral Home, Martins Ferry, Ohio on Thursday, October 1, 2020, from 5-7 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private funeral service will be held at The Church of the Life Giving Fountain with interment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, The Church of the Life Giving Fountain, 314 N. 5th St., Martins Ferry, OH 43935.
