JOANNE BLACK

JoAnne Joyce Spasaro Dulkoski Black of 303 DeVore Street, Cadiz, was called to her eternal rest on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was born on November 15, 1933, at Aultman Hospital in Canton to Thomas and Della L. Vince Spasaro.

She was a 1951 graduate of Warren Consolidated High School in Tiltonsville. She was a member of Saint Casimir’s Catholic Church in Adena where she was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club and The Rosary Society. JoAnne was also a member of the Adena American Legion Auxiliary Unit 525 and Adena Fire Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents and stepfather, John N. Cigagna, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward A. Dulkoski Sr., her second husband, Charles E. Black, and a stepson, Stanley Black.

She is survived by her son, Edward A. Dulkoski, wife Glenda of Adena; daughters Cyndie Garczyk, husband Gary, of Maynard and Jamie Ridgeway, husband John, of Cadiz. JoAnne has five grandchildren: Jennifer, Kasey, Jessica, Abbey and Jarryd and nine great grandchildren. She has a stepdaughter Cherry Black Schuster, step grandson, Jim Schuster and step granddaughter, Jodi Black. She has a sister, Virginia Gockstetter, sister-in- law, Katherine Pandy and brothers-in-law, Henry and Greg Dulkowski.

The family would like to recognize her special caregivers, JoAnna Byers and Jason Smith and her wonderful Adena friends who are her family.

Memorial gifts can be made to the St. Casimir’s Catholic Women’s Club or The Rosary Society. The funeral service will be private due to COVID restrictions with burial at Olive Branch Cemetery in Harrisville.
