PATRICIA GOLETZ

She was born August 27, 1939 in Blaine, Ohio, a daughter of the late James McGary and Goldie Hildreth McGary.

Patty was a retired employee of Community Mental Health and former employee of Bridgeport Schools. She was a member of the Barton United Methodist Church and the Friendship Church Council. She also enjoyed attending the Senior Center and AARP meetings and crafting. Patty’s favorite activity was spending time with her grandsons, especially watching them play baseball.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James McGary, and two sisters, Emma Casteel and Catherine Carman.

She is survived by her husband, Frank A. Goletz Sr., her son, Frank A. (Dana) Goletz II, two grandsons, Cody (Sami Ange) Goletz and Brandon Goletz, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required during a memorial visitation at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Tom Jones officiating.
