GEORGE DUDA

George H. Duda also Known as “Zip”, 90, of St. Clairsville passed away Tuesday March 2, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born April 24, 1930 in Bellaire, a son of the late John and Tecla (Trusz).

He was a retired employee of C&P Telephone Co. in Mt. DeChantal, a US Army Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church Bellaire. He also belonged to the VFW St. Clairsville, and the Eagles and American Legion both in Bellaire. George loved to spend time with his family, and fishing and outdoors.

In addition, to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Norma Jean (Manukin) Duda, and brothers Michael, John, and Alex Duda, and a son-in-law Randy L. Riccelli.

George is survived by his children Diana Riccelli of Blaine, Kirk (Gina)Duda of Canton, MI, and Sherry Duda and her husband Dan Reidy of Lake Bluff IL, a sister Mary Cimini of Mason OH, grandchildren Matthew, and Michael Duda, Noah Riccelli, and Alexandria Reidy and his fiance Patty Lollathin.

Friends and family are invited to a graveside service held at Linwood Cemetery Blaine on Friday March 5, 2021 at 2:30 pm, with Chaplain Leo Gonot officiating. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, or the American Heart Association PO Box 15120 Chicago, Ill 60693.
