DAVID BOBER

David M. Bober, 62, Flushing, Ohio, took his final ride into the arms of the Lord on January 13, 2022.

He was full of life and lived life to the fullest. There wasn’t a person he ever met with whom he didn’t immediately strike up a conversation that would soon develop into a lasting friendship. He was always quick to lend a helping hand to strangers as well as friends. Some endearing nicknames included “Stink, Gene, Larry, Bingo Bob” and who can forget David’s quick wit, warm smile, wink and head nod. David enjoyed and loved his family, riding his Harley Davidson, being a member of the Sons of the Legion, AC-DC, Green Bay Packer and Nascar fan, fireworks, feeding the wildlife in his yard, helping the town and listening to his collection of chimes. He told us his journey was ending, but it really has just begun. Ride on and Fly High Brother !

David was born in Wheeling on September 13, 1959, a son of the late John S. and Winifred J. Soltis. He was a former parishioner of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Flushing, and presently a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville. He was a former employee of Kovacs Trucking, Flushing, and the Laborers Union in Orlando Florida as well as a member of the Sons of the Legion in Flushing.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents was a brother, Kenneth J. Bober.
