DOROTHY KRESAK
Dorothy Kresak, 102, of Neffs, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday November 11, 2025, at the House of Loreto in Canton, Ohio. She was born September 30, 1923, in Neffs, Ohio, a daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Kerkes Olexa.
Dorothy was a retired waitress at Chicken in the Ruff and White’s Food Market in Bellaire. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church, Catholic Women’s Club and the St. Frances Society.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew “Andy” Kresak; son in law, Ron Gibas; and four brothers, Louis, Samuel, David and Robert Olexa.
She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Gibas; granddaughter, Sarah (Justin) Noll; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say thank you to the staff and Sisters at the House of Loreto for their excellent care of Dorothy.
Family and friends will be received on Monday from 12 p.m. until time of funeral services 1 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Fr. Dan Heusel officiating. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
