Military support group packing gifts

THE HARRISON County Military Support Group will be packing Christmas packages for troops overseas on Dec. 7. Mark your calendar so you can become a part of this event that lets our service men and women know that we support them!

The packing will take place at 6 p.m. at the Cadiz Volunteer Fire Department, lower level.

Anyone, in Harrison County Ohio, having troops overseas, please contact the Harrison County Military Support Group at 740-942-3642.

“Our hardest job is trying to compile a list of all of our local troops,” said organizer Sue Stewart. “We always feel so bad if we miss someone that should be receiving packages from home! We are also always in need of homemade cookies, fudge etc. for the packages. If you would like to help, by utilizing your baking skills, please call Stewart at the above mentioned number, or bring three dozen to the firehouse during one of the packing dates. No one appreciates homemade treats from home more then our local military folks.”
