The special month of May rolls in Friday

THE Beautiful month of May arrives on Friday.

Let us pray for some ideal spring weather and ask God to spare our beloved Ohio Valley from violent storms and other natural disasters.

This is a special month for school children because it means summer vacation is near and seniors in high school anticipate proms and graduation exercises

There are many activities on the agenda. We will observe Law Day, National Day of Prayer, VE Day, Mother’s Day and Memorial Day.

Our high school graduates are planning for their futures. We wish them success. Many will go to college and others will make an attempt to enter the work force, Some will join the Armed Forces. It is our prayerful wish that all of them will be blessed with success, good health and much happiness no matter what they plan to do with the rest of their lives.
