SHS Banquet

Dear?Editor

On Sunday, May 2 Shadyside Student Council honored more than 100 students in grades 9-12 who have excelled academically over this past school year. The students had to be on the honor roll for the first three nine weeks in order to be eligible for this banquet. John “Gizzle” Ciszewski was the guest speaker. He is a 1973 graduate of Shadyside High School. Giz was with the Detroit Pistons for more than 30 years and is now with the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers. I would like to thank Mr. John Ciszewski for coming back and doing such a wonderful job at our banquet. I would also like to thank the following sponsors. Without these sponsors, our banquet would not be able to be as successful as it has been. They are as follows: All American Wash and Tan, Attorney Richard E.
