Tricia Graham

Dear Editor,

I live in Wheeling and have been buying and reading The Times Leader for 24 years and have written letters to your paper in the past. I participate in local road races and that is how I met Tricia Graham.

A little over two years ago, she did a story on the Barton race. I was in the picture along with Brenda Stewart and Drew Brown. My mother is in Bishop Hodges Care Center in Wheeling and a nurse there who lives in Ohio cut out that story and picture and gave it to my mom. She still has that story and picture hanging up in her room as of today. That same year I did the race in Adena. After the race, I bought two hot sausage sandwiches to go and I was sharing with the fireman about coming over from Wheeling. He said he knew who I was as he saw the story about the Barton race by Pat Graham and she always does a good job. I agreed with him.

I was a faithful reader of her columns in Lifestyles every Sunday and would share with her the next time I saw her at a race. I will miss her as will everyone else will.

It is said that God calls the good ones home early.

On Tuesday, July 6, an angel entered into heaven with him. Rest In Peace sister, you earned it.

Terry Whitecotton,

Wheeling
