Concealed Carry
Dear Editor
Well, some nut in Columbus has proposed that anyone 21 or older should be able to purchase and carry a concealed weapon without a permit. Nothing is said about training.
I can see it now, idiots running around flashing their “concealed weapons. Accidental shootings and non-accidental shootings may be a regular news item. The same bill was proposed in West Virginia, but they had the good sense to turn it down.
Currently the only individuals who can carry concealed weapons without a permit are police officers and honorably retired police officers with ten or more years of services. (There are certain exceptions even for them.)
