Cartoon is wrong about public schools
To Whom it may Concern:
This is regarding the cartoon in the “Opinion” section of the February 6 Times Leader. I was highly upset of your depiction of public schools. As a former public educator and longtime superintendent of schools the message insinuated that schools have failed terribly and Senator Schumer was mocked about his statement about Betsy DeVos. I believe it was highly irresponsible of The Times Leader to print this cartoon. The cartoon is the furthest thing from the facts.
