We can sit back and blame "the people who run the show" but let's look at the facts... The state has cut this district a significant amount of money and now with the new proposed budget from the state the district is still not receiving any extra money. Everyone is tired of paying taxes but let's talk about who is going to suffer from these cuts. The students!!! It's time to do something! I hope that the voters in the district educate themselves on levy. Yes we are paying for state of the art buildings and taxes seem high but if this levy passes it will equate to, on the average, $12.50 a month, which is not much when you compare that to what the classes will be like if the levy doesn't pass so what it comes down to is how much is a quality education worth for your children, grandchildren or the future? I feel it's worth way more than $12.50 a month!
