Dear Editor: In response to some of the words written by a council woman in the village of Bellaire, Ohio I thought I should make a public statement....

I think I've been silent long enough. I don't know Mr. Brown personally. I've seen him at town hall meetings and at council meetings but we have never been introduced. For the past couple of years I've been reading his Facebook postings as well as those of his critics. Just judging from that, it is my opinion that Mr. Brown has only the best interest of Bellaire at heart. As for the gazebo in the park, my mother had a favorite saying - what's good for the goose is good for the gander - so if Dan must jump through every regulatory hoop to get his building built then the village should have to do the same. And as for the mayor's seat, go for it Dan. I'll vote for you!

The pettiness of these people is something to behold.
Bellaire is now under the control of children, and Dan Brown is the biggest baby of the bunch. I hope, for the sake of the town that I grew up in, that an adult will step forward and assume control, or this this jagoff could actually be elected mayor.
