DRAKE, Bradley David, 53, of Barnesville, Ohio, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Wexner Medical Center, surrounded by his family.
He was born September 8, 1959, in Barnesville, OH, son of David Merritt and Monna Leach Merritt.
Bradley was a 1977 Barnesville High School graduate. He was a sports enthusiast and very few football games were ever missed by him. He was very artistic and painted beautifully by mouth.
Bradley had a large Facebook following and was president of Residence Council at Barnesville Health Care Center.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Roberts; maternal grandparents, Earl and Leona Leach; paternal grand parents, Austin and Vada Merritt; and grandparents, Raymond and Ethel Drake.
In addition to his parents, Bradley is survived by sisters, Brenda (Mike) Rogers of Phoenix, Arizona, Cyndi (Jeff) Burns of Hendrysburg, Ohio, and Rebecca (Robert) Lynn of Orange Park, Florida; brothers, David (Carol) Merritt of Bethesda, Ohio and Dale (Crystal) Drake of Barnesville, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends may visit, Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 702 East Main St., Barnesville, OH, where services will be conducted, Saturday 2:30 p.m. Pastor Jeff Burns and Pastor Bob Merritt will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
