It develops new streams of revenue for its clients through unique advertising and marketing solutions for large corporations, working in the areas of advertising, marketing, sales and promotions, public relations and management.

A Perrysburg, Ohio native Dan Michelson has been chosen to head the local office and will be assisted by Cody McMahon.

McMahon, a native of Tulsa, Okla., worked with Michelson in Missouri most recently and joined in his coworker's move when Michelson was tabbed to head up his own location.

Michelson had multiple options of where he could move but he wanted to come back to his native Ohio.

"I had choices across the U.S., but I'm from Ohio and I actually have some family ties to the area."

Michelson explained when his family first emigrated from Wales, they settled in Martins Ferry. His grandfather attended first grade in town before moving elsewhere in the state.

McMahon and Michelson won't be the only two operating out of their office.

Michelson explained he plans to hire a few more employees and is taking applications, spending Thursday and Friday training the first of his new employees.

Locally, DMS handles promotion and advertising in large retail centers for a national satellite provider.

"That is our main client at this time but we are looking to expand. DMS works with several different Fortune 500 companies," Michelson said. "We primarily operate out of large retail chains, promoting products for the companies."

What that means is the six days the staff at DMS is working, they will be out of the office the majority of the time. The building itself will mainly operate as a home base, providing space for team building, conducting interviews and training.

Michelson is a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design.
