Small town feel with plenty of amenities

A?TIGHT-KNIT?community of more than 4,000, the picturesque community of Barnesville has that small town appeal with the friendly-going nature of its citizens to match.

Yet, despite its size, the village of Barnesville offers plenty to do, both for its residents and those who venture out to western Belmont County.

Memorial Park boasts ample outdoor recreational opportunities for young and old while the Belmont County Victorian Mansion allows its visitors to take a trip back in time.

FROM?small street fair to one of the top festivals in the tri-state area, the annual Barnesville Pumpkin Festival is one of the most looked forward to events of the year. Starting in 1964, the festival turns 50 this year.

Benefitting immensely from the oil and gas industry boom, the village of Barnesville figures to improve on its already solid offering as a community for years to come.
