Barnesville swept by visiting Shenandoah

Homestanding Barnesville dropped to 9-4 on the season by virtue of a sweep at the hands of Shenandoah Tuesday evening. The Lady Zeps prevailed by scores of 25-11, 25-13 and 25-20.

Barnesville was led by Miranda Plumly's eight kills and six digs. Sydney Ralston added seven points, three digs and two kills. Paige Wright had seven digs. Paige Huntsman added six assists, four kills and four digs. Layne Broomhall had eight assists, two kills and seven digs. Shasta Roberts had four digs.

Shenandoah was led by Kylee Kasper's 12 kills, 14 points, six aces and eight digs. Ashlee Wukelich added 11 kills, 11 points, four aces and three aces. Jessica Long had 16 assists.

Monroe Central tops UL

Katelyn Dimmerling had 17 points, five aces and six assists as Monroe Central topped Union Local 25-5, 25-17.

Erin Miller added six points for the Seminoles, while Kaleigh Marley added five kills. Carley Baker had four points and five kills and Kelsey Dick amassed four points and four kills.

Kaitlynn Clark-Patterson had four points, four kills and six blocks for the Jets, while Madie Schafer and Devin Earliwine had five digs each and Anna Joe Nardo dished out seven assists.

Magnolia bests Monroe Central

Mallory Chapman recorded eight points, eight kills, nine digs and five blocks as Magnolia swept Monroe Central 25-19, 25-17.

Baker had five points and four digs for the Seminoles. Brittany Hooper had six kills, while Diock handed out 10 assists.

Magnolia defeats Jets

Kelsi Chapman scored 14 points and had six digs as Magnolia topped Union Local 25-10, 25-11.

Baylee Wiseman collected four points and six blocks for Union Local, while Clark-Patterson had four points and six blocks.

Fort Frye downs River

Amanda Bennett had 19 points and Jensen Caretti scored nine points and had 12 kills but Fort Frye swept River 25-20, 25-17, 25-23.

Monica Curtis added 20 assists and seven digs for the Pilots, while Mackenzie Marshall had nine points and 11 digs and Mackenzie Wade had six points and five digs. Abby Caldwell had seven points and five digs.
