MC CROSKEY, Nellie V.

MC CROSKEY, Nellie V., 91, of Belmont, Ohio, went home to be with her dear Jesus, Monday, September 30, 2013 at Belmont Manor.

She was born May 20, 1922 in Saskatchewan, Canada, daughter of the late William M. Butler and Mona Belle Green Butler.

She was a homemaker and a member of Belmont United Methodist Church.

Nellie was very active in many church activities including: the Women's Adult Sunday School Class, prayer groups, assisting with dinners, and many other church activities. She devoted many years to The Manna Project.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Hannah Lee McCroskey; brothers, Thomas Terlson, James Ball, and Frederick Ball; brother-in-law, Fred Shine.

Nellie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kellis Harvey McCroskey of Belmont, Ohio; daughter, Freda Neil of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; sons, William (Mary) McCroskey of Solon, Ohio, Timothy (Linda) McCroskey of LaGrange, Ohio; 11 grand- children; 11 great- grandchildren; sisters, Mona (Walter) Morris of Beverly Hills, Florida; Martha Shine of Spring Hill, Florida; and brother, George (Earlene) Rosedale of Keyser, West Virginia.

Family and friends may visit, Friday from 5-8 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio and Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m., Belmont United Methodist Church, 129 W. Market St., Belmont, Ohio. Reverend Theresa Bobot will be officiating. Interment will follow at Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio,
