Rain for Rent resumes recruiting

Rain For Rent, based out of California, continues to expand its local operations and will once again be recruiting and interviewing applicants for installer positions for its Triadelphia, W.?Va., location on Jan. 21 and Jan. 22 at OhioMeansJobs Belmont County (formerly Belmont County Connections) located at 302 Walnut St. in Martins Ferry.

Over the past two years, Rain for Rent has had great success in partnering with OhioMeansJobs Belmont County as a source to hire employees.

Scheduled interviews will take place on Jan. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the morning of Jan. 22 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Walk-in applicants may apply on Jan. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

To be considered for a scheduled interview, applicants must email their resume to SCHLAM@ODJFS.STATE.OH.US. Resumes will be forwarded to Rain For Rent for screening. An applicant may apply as a walk-in applicant if not contacted for a scheduled interview. Applicants must complete an online application as follows:

Installer job duties entail the delivery of tanks, pipeline and pumps to work sites; loading and unloading of trucks; reading work orders and selecting pipe sizes and material needed for jobs; lay out and assembly of pipes, pumps and other equipment; completing rental orders, sales orders and reports; using hand tools and power tools to perform minor maintenance on equipment such as lubricating nuts and bolts and replacing gaskets and valves; testing and inspection of installed systems; and following safety procedures.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications: age 18 or older; possess a valid driver's license; have no more than three moving violations in the last three years; no DUI's in the last 5 years; pass drug test, physical and background check; have mechanical aptitudes; willing to work out of the area and stay overnight as needed; ability to work outside in all weather; ability to lift 25 to 100 pounds; and have a minimum of one year of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Individuals who have previously worked in construction or manufacturing would make good, potential candidates.

Compensation for the position is $10 - $20 per hour based on qualifications. Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, vacation and other benefits are provided.
