Gary Louis Tellitocci, 58, of Marshall Avenue, Elm Grove, Wheeling, died Friday, May 2, 2014 at Liza's Place, Valley Hospice Care Center South,Wheeling, WV.
He was born October 1, 1955 in Wheeling, WV, the son of Evelyn May Fisher Tellitocci of Elm Grove and the late Joseph Tellitocci, Sr., who died June 24, 1993.
He was Roman Catholic by faith and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Elm Grove,Wheeling. He was a 1974 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Sue Tellitocci, on March 7, 2009; an infant niece, Rebecca Lynn Tellitocci, on March 11, 1978; his maternal grandparents, George Jacob Fisher and Madeline Theresa McGovern Fisher; his paternal grandparents, Luigi (Louis) Tellitocci and Maria Olivieri Fana Tellitocci and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Surviving in addition to his Mother, Evelyn May Fisher Tellitocci of Elm Grove are a sister, Diana Lee "Diane" Tellitocci Duley and her husband, Robert Joseph Duley of Martins Ferry, OH; brother, Joseph Tellitocci Jr. and his wife, Barbara Ann Molnar Tellitocci of Benwood, WV; three nephews, Joseph Anthony Tellitocci of Benwood, Travis John Tellitocci and his wife, Bobbi Sue Gibbons Tellitocci of Poughkeepsie, NY and Kevin Paul Vail and his wife, Sarah Ann Wilkas Vail of Ellington, CT; two nieces, Amy Beth Vail of Enfield, CT and Victoria Sue Vail Pellegatto and her husband, Jason Alan Pellegatto of Worcester, MA; two great nephews, Dean Mitchell Bailey of Enfield, CT and Jackson Paul Vail of Ellington, CT; great niece, Alexis Elizabeth Vail of Ellington, CT and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends will be received Monday, May 5, 2014 from 3-8 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel,154 Kruger Elm Grove, WV, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Elm Grove, with Rev. Gary P. Naegele serving as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
