BELLAIRE — The Big Reds broke into the win column with a four-set victory against Harrison Central Monday evening.

The Big Reds prevailed by scores of 25-22, 14-25, 25-22 and 25-20.

Bellaire was paced by Michaela Flaherty’s 13 kills, 12 digs and seven points. Natalie Stoner added four kills, 16 digs and eight points. Tenley Hughe was credited with eight kills, three blocks, nine digs and three aces. Addie Conroy contributed four kills and three aces, while Haleigh LaMotte added 13 assists. Kaitlyn Kosky posted 11 points, six assists and three aces.

Harrison Central was led by Lexi Ferguson’s 18 assists, while McKayla Dunkle added nine kills and five blocks. Kobey Johnson added 11 points and six digs.

Union Local upends Ferry

MORRISTOWN — Union Local took care of invading Martins Ferry in three sets Monday evening, posting a 25-21, 25-15 and 25-7 victory.

Alexis Logan had 11 digs, seven kills and three aces, while Lacey Bilyeu added 17 digs. Sydney Lohr was charted for 12 digs and three aces and Casey Kildow had five kills and two aces.

Barnesville sweeps Caldwell

CALDWELL — Barnesville needed just three games to get to a perfect 3-0 on the season, prevailing over the Redskins, 25-14, 25-18 and 26-24.

Mindi Wehr had 12 kills, seven points and nine digs, while Madison Detling had 11 kills and four digs. Senior Mya McEndree added 17 assists, 12 digs and an ace. Savanna Finnical was carted for 16 assists, while Erin Hannahs had 10 digs.

Beallsville sweeps Bridgeport

BEALLSVILLE — The Beallsville Blue Devils picked up a sweep of Bridgeport Monday evening by scores of 25-15, 25-22 and 25-19.

Beallsville was paced by Olivia Muncy, who had five kills, five assists and three aces. Mackenzie Perkins had five kills. Ashlie Louden had nine assists, four kills and two aces. Makenna Phillips added four kills and two blocks.

Bri Conaway led the Bulldogs with two kills, three blocks and two aces. Danielle Bradac added two kills and three digs, while Jaren Tucker contributed five points, two aces and five assists. Jessa Stockwell had six points.

St. Clairsville downs Monroe Central

WOODSFIELD — Akexa Binger recorded 14 kills and six points a the Red Devils (3-0) remained perfect.

Keri Klinkoski added 10 kills, while Kenzie Schoolcraft added 10 digs and Macie Hothem nine. Katie Miller recorded 21 assists while Chloe Biancarelli charted 11.

Kirsten Friday had 12 points and five aces for the Seminoles (0-1). Sydney Yoho had 38 digs and nine points. Elaina Swallow 19 assists.

River defeats Shadyside

SHADYSIDE–Allison Bennett handed out an outstanding 48 assists to go along with 17 digs and four points as she led River over host Shadyside on Saturday by scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-16, 16-25, 15-12.

Lauren Flannery produced 19 kills, 18 digs and seven points and Candace Caldwell turned in 24 points.
