Bellaire spikes Bridgeport in 5

BELLAIRE — Natalie Stoner had 15 points, eight kills and five digs Tuesday evening to help Bellaire down Bridgeport in high school volleyball action 22-25, 25-17, 25-22, 12-25, 15-12.

Michaela Flaherty added 10 kills, six points and five digs for the Big Reds, while Addie Conroy recorded 11 points, five aces and six kills. Haleigh LaMotte had nine assists and five points and Kaitlyn Kosky had nine points and seven assists.

Jessa Stockwell had 14 points and six kills for the Bulldogs, while Danielle Bradac had nine points. Kayleigh Roberts scored nine points, Sierra Smith scored seven points and Bri Conaway had 17 digs.

Zeps zap Seminoles

WOODSFIELD — Trysten Smith dished out 18 assists, reaching the 1,000 mark for her career, as Shenandoah downed Monroe Central 25-10, 25-8.

Daney Dimmerling scored 20 points for Shenandoah.

Sydney Yoho had 11 digs for the Seminoles.

Monroe Central bests Beallsville

WOODSFIELD — Kalista Friday had 10 points and five aces and Rymie Bishop had eight points and seven kills as Monroe Central topped Beallsville 21-25, 25-19, 25-15.

Yoho added 23 digs and eight points for the Seminoles, while Elaine Swallow had 15 assists.

Ashlie Louden had seven assists for the Blue Devils.

Weir 7, Harrison Central 3

CADIZ — Julia Gianni kept her hot streak going with three goals, while Nina Grassini added two and Megan Cramer and Bella Aperfine each with one in a Weir win against Harrison Central.

Sydney Starr netted all three goals for the Huskies.
