BRIDGEPORT — Shadyside inched closer to wrapping up the top seed and right to host the OVAC Class 2A tournament with a three-set win over the homestanding Bulldogs Monday by scores of 25-10, 25-21 and 25-14.

Sarah Teasdale had 13 points, including two aces, five kills and 12 digs. Madison Davis added six points, 26 assists and eight digs. Kylie Jo Baker had 11 points, four kills and 13 digs. Riley Brown added nine kills and three digs.

The Bulldogs were led by Danielle Bradac’s 10 blocks and two kills. Bri Conaway had nine digs, while Jaren Tucker added three kills, three assists and three points. Sierra Simeth had four points and five assists. Justine Fuellien had four points, three blocks and a kill.

Bellaire sweeps Linsly

BELLAIRE — The Big Reds celebrated senior night with a sweep of Linsly by scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-18.

Natalie Stoner logged eight kills and five digs, while Addie Conroy was charted for 11 aces and 17 points. Michaela Flaherty had six digs, seven points, four aces and six blocks. Haleigh LaMotte had 12 points, four digs and five assists. Tenley Hughes added five kills and six blocks.

Barnesville upends Harrison

CADIZ — The Shamrocks dropped the opening set, but roared back to claim victory against Harrison Central Monday evening by scores of 14-25, 25-22, 25-15 and 25-11.

Mindi Wehr once again had an impressive game with 14 kills, 15 points and six digs. Rylee Stephens had eight kills, three blocks and six digs. Mya McEndree added nine points, two kills and 14 assists. Savanna Finnical had 14 assists and 10 digs. Erin Hannahs had eight points and seven digs.

Harrison Central was led by McKayla Dunkle’s 25 kills and 10 blocks. Lexi Ferguson added 37 assists and 15 points. Kobey Johnson was charted for 18 digs.

Beallsville falls to Paden City

BEALLSVILLE — The Blue Devils were swept in three competitve sets by Paden City Monday evening by scores of 28-26, 25-11 and 25-22.

Olivia Muncey had eight assists, five digs, three kills and three aces. Mackenzie Perkins added five kills. Ashlie Louden recorded five assists, three kills and an ace.
