MARTINS FERRY — Martins Ferry exploded for six runs in the sixth inning in downing visiting Edison, 11-4, Tuesday afternoon.

Trevor Hanson went the route on the hill for Anthony Reasbeck’s Purple Riders (10-12). He fanned there and walked two.

Jake Probst sparked Ferry with a double and two RBI while Chase Goff plated two runs with a single. Colin Snedeker chipped in with two singles while Dasyn Hores had an RBI double.
