Beallsville gets first win; Buckeye falls at Oak Glen

BEALLSVILLE — Dakota Phillips threw for 150 yards and two scores and also ran for two TDs and Beallsville exploded for 28 first-quarter points Friday night in blanking Hundred, 40-0, at Dave Caldwell Field.

Wyatt Brown and James Schnegg each added a TD run for Beallsville, which won for the first time this season.

Brandon Louden caught both of Phillips’ TD strikes and ended up with 91 receiving yards in three receptions.

Oak Glen 59, Buckeye Local 12

NEW MANCHESTER — Hunter Patterson had nine carries for 156 yards and touchdowns of 20, 10 and 40 yards as Oak Glen bested Buckeye Local to improve to 3-0.

Gage Patterson had two rushes for 95 yards including a 59-yard touchdown. He added a 55-yard punt return for a touchdown as well as having two catches for 92 yards including touchdowns of 5 and 45 yards.

Hunter Patterson also had three catches for 32 yards.

Nick Chaney was 10 of 16 for 161 yards and two touchdowns with one interception.

Paxton Shuman got in on the action with seven carries for 55 yards including a 33-yard touchdown.

Evan Geisse had three carries for 14 yards and a touchdown.

Zach Taylor caught one pass for 34 yards and Brayden Mineard had two catches for 22 yards.

Michael Lemley once again came up with an interception for the Bears, while Gage Patterson recorded two sacks.
