MORRISTOWN — It came down to the wire but Union Local (20-0) remained undefeated with a narrow 50-49 win over visiting Linsly inside “The Hangar” Thursday night in girls’ high school basketball action.

Reagan Vinskovich and Casey Kildow each delivered 13 points to pilot the Jets and Torre Kildow added 10.

Brinley Steen paced the Cadets with 16 points.

Beallsville 66, Wheeling Central 64

BEALLSVILLE — Ashlie Louden and Ashley Howell both powered their way to 19 points Thursday night as Beallsville edged Wheeling Central in a battle between two teams headed to next week’s OVAC girls’ basketball tournament.

Hallie Bommer and Jaycee Huffman each added 10 points for the Blue Devils, the top seed in the Class 1A field.

All seven players scored for Beallsville.

Steubenville Catholic 71, Bridgeport 42

STEUBENVILLE — Jaren Tucker paced the Bulldogs (2-17) with 22 points.
