CADIZ — Harrison Central defeated Buckeye Local by 25 shots (173-198) on its home course of Cadiz Country Club Monday afternoon.

Senior Sam Santille continued his strong early season with an even-par round of 36. Trevor Thompson as the runner-up medalist with a round of 43.

AT BECWOOD, Monroe Central picked up a victory over St. Clairsville and Martins Ferry thanks to a round of 168, which was 12 better than the Red Devils and 28 shots clear of the host Purple Riders.

Martins Ferry senior Luke Krol picked up his second medalist in as many outings with a round of 3-over, 39.

His card included an eagle on the par 4, sixth.

Monroe Central’s Austin Sloan and St. Clairsville’s Will Foster both checked in with rounds of 39.
