Harrison duo captains All-TL Bowling

The prep bowling season was another successful campaign for area teams and players.

Though working under adverse circumstances because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the OVAC and OHSAA both were able to crown champions and area players completed their seasons.

The annual All Times Leader Bowling Team honors 18 of the top players from area teams, including an equal number of boys and girls.

The team is chosen by the T-L Sports Staff with the help of area bowling coaches.

Harrison Central’s Trevor Thompson and Aleyna Runevitch have been chosen as the captains of the squad.

Here’s a capsule look at the honorees:

TREVOR THOMPSON, Harrison Central — This senior standout put the finishing touches on a brilliant prep career by leading the league in scoring average.

Thompson knocked over an average of 209 pins per match for Coach Bobbi Parkinson’s team. He was the sectional individual champion and a former All-Ohioan in bowling.

“Trevor has been a joy to coach and watch over the last four seasons,” Parkinson said. “Trevor is a true leader to his teammates and the bowling community. I will surely miss his presence on the lanes next season.”
