MORGANTOWN — St. Clairsville Legion Post 159 picked up a pair of victories in the annual New Era Cap Classic Thursday.

St. C. Claimed the opener thanks to Dakota Hess’ work on the mound. He also helped his cause with a three-run home run to lift St. C. to the 8-0 win. Will Balgo had a double and two RBI, while Drew Sefsick had two singles. Kobe Hill had a RBI single.

Dylan Gregoric picked up the win in the second game, which featured a 10-8 score. Tyler Tonkovich had a double and a single as did Hill. Braylen Blomquist had two singles. Balgo and Chase Goff each had a double.
