GREENSBURG, PA. — St. Clairsville Post 159 American Legion baseball opened its four-game stint at the Atlantic Coast Baseball event at Seton Hill University with an 8-1 victory against the Steel City Dawgs.

Martins Ferry’s Colby Shriver picked up the mound win in the complete-game effort. He fanned seven and walked two.

St. Clairsville High product Will Balgo had a triple, double and four RBI, while fellow Red Devil product Tyler Tonkovich had a RBI double.

Chase Goff — a recent Martins Ferry graduate — had a single. Gannon Kazmirski had a RBI single.
