CONNORVILLE — Buckeye Local needed three sets to finish off the invading Bridgeport by scores of 25-11, 25-12 and 31-29.

The Panthers were led by Sam Ankrom’s nine digs and two aces. Abbey Berze had nine digs, while Pam Kandrach had nine kills and four digs. Brynn McKeever added six digs and 13 assists. Avah Williams had 11 assists, 14 points and six aces. Shayleigh Hornyak had nine kills and five digs.

Bridgeport was led by Ashlynn Allen’s five kills and five points. Markiee McCormick had four points, seven assists and nine digs. Vanessa Mullen added 17 digs.

CADIZ — The Huskies survived an epic, five-set match against the Purple Riders by scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-21, 23-25 and 15-12.

Harrison Central was led on the stat sheet by Danica Rensi’s 15 kills. Olivia Tonkovich added 35 assists. Maddy Butler posted 32 digs, while Maddie Sedgmer added 13 points. Nadia Tweedy had six blocks and Trista Thompson donated five.

Martins Ferry was led by Sydney Koller’s 21 kills and two blocks. Lindsey Best had 31 digs, 11 kills, two aces. Hannah Meeker posted 40 assists, 14 digs and two aces. McKenzie Carte had 16 kills and four blocks. Suz Bruney posted 18 digs and Jordan Hughes had five digs and six kills.

Barnesville sweeps Beallsville

BEALLSVILLE — The Shamrocks went on the road and picked up a sweep of the Blue Devils by scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-21.

Ava McFarland led the Shamrocks with 33 assists, 15 digs and an ace. Halle Markovich posted four blocks and 20 kills. Kynlie Cline added 49 digs. Ellie Thompson recorded 14 kills and six digs. Jalyn Skinner was charted for 14 digs.

The Blue Devils were led by Kaylee Hagan’s 16 digs and 13 kills. Kinley Hughes posted five kills, four digs and 16 assists.

Monroe Central

WOODSFIELD – The invading Zeps swept past the host Seminoles by scores of 25-20, 25-23 and 25-16.

Maclarin Craft led Monroe Central with 10 digs and five points, while Jacey English added six kills and five digs. Kynzi Bishop finished with four points and a trio of kills. Grace Swisher chipped in four kills and three blocks. Kyra English had nine assists and Olivia Valkovic eight.

Olivia Bettinger totaled eight blocks.

Hundred sweeps St. John

BELLAIRE — The Hornets posted a three-set win by scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 26-24.

Gianna Metz led the Irish with 13 digs and two kills. Hannah Grady had 10 aces and six digs. Korynne Canter had 12 digs. Delaney Kemp posted nine digs.
