ARMSTRONG MILLS -- An Alledonia man was declared dead at the scene of an accident Saturday in Washington Township.
According to information from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at about 6:55 p.m., Russel D. Lucas, 70, traveled off the road while driving west on Ohio 148. His vehicle struck a road sign and multiple trees before coming to a stop.
According to the patrol, Lucas was not wearing a seatbelt and troopers believe alcohol was a contributing factor to the crash.
The accident remains under
investigation.
