Update: Interstate 470 in Ohio reopened after tractor-trailer fire
Interstate 470 eastbound has been reopened near the I-70 split following a tractor-trailer fire that shut down that section of the interstate for hours.
Traffic resumed on that stretch a little before 2 p.m., according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

I-470 eastbound is closed at I-70 due to a tractor-trailer fire, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation. I-470 is expected to be closed for several hours in order for emergency crews to distinguish the fire and remove debris from roadway.
I-70 eastbound remains open at this location. No official detour is posted, traffic is advised to continue east on I-70.
