Belmont County Clerk of Courts reports activity for November

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The Belmont County Clerk of Courts office handled a wide range of legal filings and title transactions during November, according to the monthly report released by Clerk Laura A. Zupko. In the Legal Department, clerk’s fees totaled $32,506.49, with an additional $991.44 generated in interest fees. The office recorded 166 new cases filed during the month. Certificates of judgment led the way with 60 filings, followed by 29 civil cases and 21 criminal cases.
