Barnesville Pumpkin Festival president dies

Tim Rockwell, the longtime president of the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival, died last week at age 59. The festival announced on social media over the weekend that Rockwell had died. According to his obituary, he died April 30 in Orlando. Rockwell, a truck driver by trade, began his service with the festival by overseeing its parade for eight years.
