Lois Geraldine "Gerry" Steere, 85, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026 at WVU Wheeling Hospital. Gerry was born September 30, 1940 in the Fulton Neighborhood Section of Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Margaret Joseph. Gerry graduated from South High School in Columbus, Ohio in 1958 and earned her associate degree. She retired from the Belmont County Department of Human Services as a supervisor, was a member of Harbor of Hope, Assembly of God Church and the Belmont County Senior Center. Elda Marie Moore, age 90, of Lafferty Ohio, passed away on May 13, 2026, at Cumberland Pointe Care Center. She was born in her beloved Lafferty on September 26, 1935, a daughter of the late Serafino and Emma Datres Calovini. She was a graduate of Lafferty High School, attended Muskingum College and was a faithful member of St Mary’s Catholic Church and the Lafferty Moose. She was born July 22, 1957, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elwood and Hilda Mae Baker Brandon. Terri was a former employee of Marshall’s in St. Clairsville and Kroger’s in Martins Ferry. She was a member of Old Wegee United Methodist Church in Shadyside.
