More than 30 children and adults celebrate the grand opening of the area’s first handicap accessible story walk on Monday along the National Road Bikeway in St. Clairsville. Doug Walsh, St. Clairsville Public Library director, said the library partnered with the city of St. Clairsville to crreate the path using federal grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. After a ribbon-cutting ceremony, families walked and read the story walk together. A similar story walk opened recently at Barkcamp State Park, but it follows a forest trail rather than a paved path.
