At 1:52 a.m. Monday, a deputy responded to a report of a hit-skip vehicle crash on Mall Ring Road in St. Clairsville outside of the Ulta store. The officer spoke with the vehicle owner, who said her vehicle got hit while it was parked in a parking space, and the vehicle sustained visible damage in several areas.

At 11:20 p.m. Sunday, central dispatch reported a possible overdose at an address on Chestnut Ridge Road. An officer responded, as did an emergency medical service squad. After the EMS arrived, they advised this was not an overdose but may be a domestic situation. Other units responded, and the parties were separated. It was determined that there was a verbal argument only. The male party left the residence, according to the report.

At 7:12 p.m. Sunday, a caller from an address on Main Street, St. Joe Road, Bellaire, reported a neighbor spun mud onto his driveway while doing a burnout. Deputies spoke with both parties and advised them to leave each other alone. Only a small amount of dirt was observed in the driveway, according to the report.

At 12:41 p.m. Sunday, a sergeant was out on a traffic stop along Interstate 70 eastbound near exit 218. A warning was issued to an Indiana motorist for failure to maintain a lane.

At 11:02 a.m. Sunday, a caller from a business on Old Route 8, Barnesville, said a former employee who was recently let go was now bothering employees and customers, threatening to steal equipment and failing to return company keys. An officer contacted the man, who was instructed to stop harassing the company and its customers. The man said that he would do so and would drop off the keys at the sheriff’s office. However, as of 3:41 p.m. that day, he had not done so. Company officials were advised to consider changing the locks because of the situation, which was described as a civil issue.

At 5:15 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported that after she was arrested on Wednesday, someone broke into her home on Third Street in Glencoe. The complainant was to take inventory on items that were reportedly stolen, according to the report.

At 4:38 p.m. Saturday, a caller from Elm Street reported he was not at home, and his door cam alerted him that someone had come onto his porch and possibly stoleN a comic book. A suspect left in a white vehicle. An officer checked the area, but did not make contact with the suspect.

At 1:41 p.m. Saturday, an officer on a traffic stop on Interstate 70 eastbound near mile marker 213 in St. Clairsville issued a warning to a Kentucky motorist for speeding.

At 11:06 a.m. Saturday, a caller from an address on Pear Street in Bethesda reported there had been people trespassing on the property. The caller was advised that extra patrols will be performed in the area.

At 8:50 a.m. Saturday, a complainant from West Prospect Street in Brookside reported that damage was found on his front storm door, and it appeared as if someone tried to break into the residence. The complainant was advised there would be extra patrols in the area.

At 3:39 p.m Friday, a complainant from Winding Hill Road, Bellaire, came to the station to report a stolen four wheeler.

On Monday, Tony Glen Jones, 48, of Moundsville was cited for no driver’s license and fined $184.

Jacob Brady Reynolds, 20, of Martins Ferry was cited Monday for driving under suspension and improper display and released on his own recognizance.

William John Garvey, 49, of Bethany was cited Saturday for speeding, 69 mph in a 50 mph zone, and fined $149.

John Martin Garner, 43, of Lansing was cited for speeding, 66 mph in a 50 mph zone, on Saturday and fined $149.

Adam Michael Shallcross, 37, of St. Clairsville was cited Saturday for speeding, 68 mph in a 50 mph zone, and fined $149.

William Henry Stegman II, 40, of Shadyside was cite for speeding, 68 mph in a 50 mph zone, on Saturday and fined $149.

Edward Michael Flohr, 25, of Pittsburgh was cited Friday for speeding, 66 mph in a 50 mph zone, and fined $139.

Darrell L. Dowry Jr., 40, of Dillonvale was cited for a stop sign violation and fined $124 on Friday.

Alyssa Lynn Hart, 24, of Woodsfield was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance, a stop sign violation and turn signal violation and taken to the Belmont County Jail.

Sarah J. Finny, 39, of St. Clairsville was charged Friday with OVI and improper display. She was released on her own recognizance with a court date scheduled today.

Maria Dawn Hall, 37, of Bellaire was charged Thursday with fifth-degree felony possession of a controlled substance and taken to the jail.

Daniel Dwayne Hairston, 44, of Bellaire was charged Thursday with fifth-degree felony possession of a controlled substance and taken to the jail.

Jermaine L. Stewart Jr., 26, of Laurel, NJ, was cited March 29 for expired tags and fined $124.

Janee Johnson, 34, of Martins Ferry was cited March 29 for expired registration and fined $124.

Gage Allen Kish, 23, of Shadyside was cited March 29 for expired registration and fined $124.
