‘Snag a Bag’ auction is March 25 at Scottish Rite

The Wheeling Symphony Orchestra Auxiliary is hosting the “Snag a Bag” auction to raise funds to support the symphony on Friday, March 25. The event will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Building, 83 14th St., Wheeling.
Forty-five new and gently used designer bags, featuring brands such as Vera Bradley, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Coach will be auctioned in both live and silent auctions. In addition to new bags, the auction will feature bonus items, such as gift certificates to local businesses, jewelry, accessories, or themed items. Attendees will also have a chance to bid on one-of-a-kind theme bags such as A Day at the Beach or Pool,
Margarita Mania, Yoga to Go, Spa Day and many more.
Raffle tickets will also be sold for an opportunity to win a beautiful silver bangle bracelet and Tori Burch crossbody bag valued at $450. A door prize drawing will also be included, and the winner does not have to be present at the Snag a Bag event. WTRF will serve as the media sponsor, along with other generous donors.
Admission tickets are $20 each and can be purchased by calling, texting, or emailing Nancy Haynes at 740-312-5229 or redecorateconsignment@gmail.com, from Symphony Auxiliary members, or at the door. Included in the admission price are heavy hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will also be offered.
