Auction Extravaganza is Oct. 2 in Cadiz

CADIZ — The Harrison County Dog Pound Volunteers are planning their annual Auction Extravaganza on Oct. 2 with the auction beginning at 1 p.m.
The event will also feature vendors, food and fun for everyone. This year’s big raffle is two $100 gas cards.
The proceeds raised during the auction go for veterinarian expenses for dogs coming into the shelter that need medical attention.
The HCDP Volunteers is a 501c3 organization that helps improve the lives of the dogs residing at the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz.
The Harrison County Dog Pound is located at 82900 Toot Road in Cadiz. According to its social media page, its hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and closed on Sundays and holidays.
