‘Christmas With The Stars’ concert set for Nov. 19

Chrisagis Brothers

Christmas With The Stars is the biggest Christmas event of the season and possibly the biggest night of stars that the region has ever seen, according to event organizers, the Chrisagis brothers.

The brothers are known for having some of the biggest concerts in the area with legendary iconic Hollywood stars and Christian award winning music artists. You never know who you will see at one of their events.

Christmas With The Stars is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the J.B. Chambers Performing Arts Center, 1976 Park View Road, Wheeling.

The night will include a time to get autographs and photos from these stars. The merchandise will be available so bring some spending money. The doors open at 4 p.m. and the concert starts at 5:30 p.m. Sponsors can come at 3 p.m. for a meet and greet. Call 304-650-0425 or 740-859-2344 for tickets while you can because the 1,200 seats at J.B. Chambers Performing Arts Center are nearly full.

Five of the greatest iconic stars will appear:

The first Iconic legend is: one of movie history’s most dynamic award winning dramatic actresses, Lindsay Wagner from TV’s Bionic Woman, who has been in over 100 different movies and has been named with Hollywood’s greatest legends like Stanwyck, Davis, and Hepburn.

The second legend is one of the great beauties of all time, Catherine Bach from TV’s Dukes of Hazzard, who sold millions for her best selling pin up poster that ranked only under Farrah Fawcett and Raquel Welch.

The third legendary icon is Cindy Williams, who is by far one of the greatest and most beloved female comics in TV history, in the same league with Lucille Ball, Carol Burnett and Betty White. She starred in the hit series Laverne and Shirley.

The fourth is Barry Williams, who starred as Greg Brady in TV’s most loved family shows in history, The Brady Bunch. The series is still the Top 5 TV classics in history, as the most syndicated and most watched show in history.

The fifth is one of the greatest and most awarded wrestlers in history, Jake “The Snake” Roberts. He made WWF the top TV show in the world.

Each of these five stars are international legends and have made history and now they will be appearing in Christmas With The Stars for one exciting night. The stars will be singing. Lindsay Wagner will be singing with Shawn Chrisagis. Cindy Williams will sing with Brian Chrisagis. Catherine Bach will sing with both brothers and will perform with local musical artist Mark Statler and top musician Roger Hoard from the Ohio Valley.

Barry Williams will also be singing songs from his collection of Broadway hits; if you have not heard Williams, you are in for a treat. The night is filled with Christmas music from fun Christmas tunes, to heart felt ones and sacred ones.

The first half of the concert is filled with the stars bringing Christmas to life with the Chrisagis brothers and lots of great classic songs from Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Karen Carpenter, etc.

There is also a tribute to classic TV themes like I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch, Laverne and Shirley, All in The Family, The Dukes Of Hazzard and the Golden Girls to name a few. The stars will also share stories of their Christmases plus the behind the scenes of their TV and film careers. The second half will be the sacred songs of the season and Jake the Snake Roberts will be featured telling his life story of pain and struggles that brought him to find Jesus.

Just as the star pointed to the birth of Christ these five legendary stars will point the way to Christ in Christmas once again. Also appearing in the concert will be four amazing female vocalists: Darlene Van Dyke, O’Linda Woods, Jaclyn Zane and Melanie Roskovich, dancer Sarah Clark, and the dancers of Speiro Academy from Martins Ferry. Sponsors include WTRF 7 News, Panhandle Cleaning and tons of other local businesses that want the Chrisagis brothers and their family entertainment to continue in the area.

The brothers already have four other legendary stars for next year: Erik Estrada, Loni Anderson, Lorenzo Lamas and Kevin Sorbo. So as you can see this tradition will hopefully continue for many years to come, they said.
