‘Blazing Stories’ to Entertain at Grand Vue

MOUNDSVILLE — Blazing Stories comes to Grand Vue Park in Moundsville at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Shelter 1 (the Zipline Base Camp), beside the Aerial Adventure Park.

This event features two popular local storytellers and educators: Rich Knoblich and Judi Tarowsky. Both performers are well-known for traditional folktales, humorous yarns, ghost stories, legends and fascinating forays into history.

Knoblich and Tarowsky are sponsored by the Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library. All the material will be family-friendly, so everyone is welcome to enjoy some tall tales and “a hearty helping of home and hearth, heroes and heels, hijinks and humor” told beside a warming fire.

Anyone planning to attend is welcome to bring snacks and beverages. Picnic tables are available, but lawn chairs and blankets can also be brought if they are preferred.

Inspired by the popular Campfire Storytelling events held during October, this Blazing Stories event is aimed at providing outdoor springtime entertainment in a relaxing park setting.

Grand Vue Park and the Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library are pleased to partner to make this special storytelling event possible. It is free and open to the public. For additional information, call Grand Vue Park at 304-845-9810 or the Moundsville library at 304-845-6911.
