SOIL AND WATER SERIES TO FOCUS ON BIRDING — Belmont Soil and Water Conservation District will continue its Summer Series on June 6 with a program focused on birding in Belmont County. The event is part of a series highlighting outdoor recreation opportunities throughout the county.
SATURDAY MARKET RETURNS TO THE PIKE — The Pike 40 in Morristown will host its weekly farmers market from 9 a.m. to noon June 6. The market features local vendors and fresh goods and continues each Saturday through the season.
BARNESVILLE AIRPORT DAY PLANNED — The Barnesville Fire Department will host Barnesville Airport Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 6. The event will include plane and helicopter rides as well as activities for children.
STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL SET IN MARTINS FERRY — Project Forward’s annual Strawberry Festival will be held from noon to 9 p.m. June 6 on Hanover Street in Martins Ferry. The event will feature contests, entertainment, vendors, food trucks and strawberry-themed activities.
RANCH NIGHT TO FEATURE BBQ, MUSIC — Dutton Cattle Company in Flushing will host Ranch Night from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. June 6. The event will include barbecue, live country music and other ranch-themed activities.
LIVE MUSIC SCHEDULED AT WINERY — Ron Retzer will perform from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 6 at Vino di Piccin Winery & Tasting House. The event is part of the winery’s Saturday night live music series.
TRUCK, TRACTOR PULL SET AT FAIRGROUNDS — The first truck and tractor pull of the summer will be held at 7 p.m. June 6 at the Belmont County Fairgrounds in St. Clairsville. Admission is $10 per person.
