SHADYSIDE -- William and Estel Bommer will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 21. They were united in marriage at the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry, with Sheldon Thomas officiating.
Bommer , son of the late William and Marcella Bommer, is retired from Bayer Chemical Company of New Martinsville. His wife, Estel, is the daughter of the late Roger and Edith Monroe. She is employed by Don Wild Insurance of Shadyside.
They have two sons, William (Shelley) Bommer of Cambridge and Timothy (Annette) Bommer of Dillonvale.
They also have two granddaughters, Greta (Justin) Clark of Palm Coast, Fla. and Amanda Collins of Dillonvale.
