HOLLIS and Helen Weekly will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday, Sept. 20. They were united in marriage Sept. 20, 1947 in Clarksburg, W.Va.
Weekly is retired from Consol Quarto No. 4 mine in Powhatan Point. His wife is the former Helen Lee Rogers of Clarksburg, W.Va.
They have three children, Diana Simcox of Morristown, Debbie Turner of Jacobsburg and Matt of Connecticut. The couple has three grandchildren.
There will be a family dinner held in their honor to celebrate the occasion.
